Day 31 / 32

Day 31 / June 27,2013

This morning started off with Andy and I having coffee on the lounge on the balcony.

Today the girls picked to go to the L'Aquarium.

 Here we are waiting for our first subway ride.

I told the girls if they let me take a picture of them that they could go off on their own.

 

Andy and I on the moving walkway under a large aquarium tank. Filled with lots of sharks and other fish.

We walked around a shopping center got a bit to eat.  Bought Andy some shorts at H&M.  Then Andy and Abby when home while Tory and I shopped a while longer.

When I got home Andy was looking up Indian food restaurants that were in walking distance.
He found one.  We got ready and started walking.  17 minutes later we arrived.

The food was good, not a great at the place in Sitges but it was good.

The girls walked across the street for gelato.

We were going to let them walk home alone, but when we asked Tory which way to go, she picked the total wrong direction.  So they had to wait for us.

When we got home Andy and the girls watched The Hunger Games / I sat outside and played Jewels Maze.  

Day 32 / June 28, 2013

 Another nice morning on the balcony enjoying some coffee.

Then at noon Andy and I heading into the city to do some sightseeing.  While the girls stayed at home.

We found a cute and cozy little cafe.They had the most decadent donuts!!!

We walked all day long.  7.55 miles.  Wow.

We had a great time, but I did end of getting a blister.  

I made the girls to the market with me, I needed them to help me carry the groceries home.

When we got back I made dinner.

 With a glass of wine.  Prefect.

Day 29 / 30

Day 29 / June 25, 2013

Today we went on a city bus tour.  I was super excited to go see the city, the girls on the other hand were not so excited.  I made them go anyways.

We got on the bus at noon.

Our first stop was in the Gothic quarter.  We walked around a large food market.
Then found a little street to have lunch.

On our way back to the bus stop we saw the Cathedral of Barcelona.

Andy and I went to go look at it, we left the girls in a Starbucks.

The Cathedral was beautiful.

 Is this the fountain of youth??????

Back on the bus.  We drove around seeing the sites.

We stop at what I thought was a shopping area, but it was siesta time.  Stopped for some sunscreen.

When we get back home at 6pm, Andy and I go to the market for some groceries.  We have to carry everything the 7 minute walk back.  We'll be going frequently.

We enjoy some cheese and wine on the balcony while the girls are at the pool. 

We watch some tv and head to bed.

Day 30 / June 26, 2013

This morning Abby and I went for a run to the port again.  We ran to the mall again to get Abby a smoothie from the juice bar.

Andy and I have coffee at the cafe across the street then we all pack up and go to the beach.

Today the weather said it was suppose to be 73 degrees, it's now 76 and it feels hot.

The beaches are nice, but not like the ones in Sitges.  They are also very busy with people. But the sand isn't as soft, and there is a slope to the beach.

We see some people pointing at jellyfish.  One guy picks it up and then buries it in the sand.  Another man gets one in his snorkel mask and gives it to Tory to put in her sand bucket.  She's very excited!

The guy next to us on the beach gets a spiny urchin.    The girls hold it.

Andy and Tory walk the beach looking for more jellyfish.  Tory finds a friend and they start collecting the jellyfish together.

We head home at 4:30.  Time to shower and have a snack.


We're craving sushi.  We walk down to the mall for dinner.
Before dinner I go to the mall early to shop at the hypermarket, then I meet them at the restaurant.

We went to a teppanyaki restaurant.

 

You pick the food and they cook it.  Or they also had a buffet that was pretty good.
