Day 43 / 44

Day 43 / July 9, 2013

Today I woke up to meet April and Niki and go back to La Rambla to shop and walk around.
Abby and Tory slept in and went to the pool at the hotel. Andy rested at the apartment for a while
and then met up with us.

April and Niki take the subway and come to our house.

We walked to the mall for Italian food.

We had a fun night with a lot of laughs.

Andy and I walked April and Niki to the metro station at 12:10am, the subway was closed, luckily

we were able to grab them a taxi and they got back to their hotel safely.

Day 44 / July 10, 2013

After we enjoyed some french toast that Andy made for breakfast, 

he and I went to Santa Caterina open air market. (smaller than the Rambla market, but still had a lot of stands and not as many tourist.)

We picked up some Iberico ham, cheese, some fresh strawberries, cherries, wonderful kiwis, bananas, nectarines, tomatoes, and very sweet cherry tomatoes.  (Makes us miss the garden we have waiting for us at home)

After we put the food away we went to the hypermarket down the street. 

 Again used Tory's great idea of using our luggage to bring the groceries home.

Andy watched a movie with Tory, while Abby took a nap, and I read on the balcony.


Andy and I took the metro to go listen to music in the park.

The park filled up fast, so we found a spot on the grass.

It started to rain a little bit, towards the end of the concert.

We made our way back to the subway, and headed home.
